Take back your life,
one week at a time.
BlockOut blocks the apps and websites that steal your time — and makes it genuinely hard to undo. Not a gentle nudge. A real barrier.
Fair warning: once protection is on, you can't uninstall BlockOut or loosen your blocks until your weekly settings period. That's the point. Available on Samsung Galaxy Store and as a direct download. The core blocking is completely free — we make money on premium features, not your data. How this works →

How It Works
Add distractions
Add the apps and websites that steal your time to your blocklist.
BlockOut enforces
Blocked apps show a reminder screen. Blocked sites are unreachable. No workarounds.
Tighten anytime, loosen weekly
Add new blocks and strengthen protection any moment of any day. Removing a block or easing protection only unlocks once a week — so a weak moment can't undo a clear-headed decision.
Unbreakable Blocking
Every feature below is completely free.
App Blocking
Block any installed app. When you try to open it, BlockOut steps in with a blocking overlay.
Website Blocking
Block websites across Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Edge, Samsung Internet, and more.
One-Way Weekly Gate
Add blocks and tighten protection anytime. Loosening — removing a block or easing protection — only unlocks once a week.
Uninstall Prevention
Device admin prevents you from just deleting the app when temptation hits.
Boot Persistence
Blocking resumes automatically when your phone restarts. No loopholes.
Anti-Tamper
Detects and resists attempts to disable blocking. Your commitment stays intact.
Why isn't the full version on Google Play?
Google Play restricts the Android permissions that make BlockOut unbreakable — like device admin (uninstall prevention) and certain accessibility service behaviors. These restrictions exist for good reasons, but they prevent us from offering the full blocking experience there.
That's why we offer two versions:
BlockOut Lite
Google Play · coming soon
All the core blocking features — app blocking, website blocking, blocking that survives a restart, and the one-way weekly gate (tighten anytime, loosen weekly). Great for getting started. Note that Android's battery settings can switch Lite's protection off.
Coming soonBlockOut
Samsung Galaxy Store · Direct Download
Everything in Lite, plus uninstall prevention and anti-tamper protection — and Android's battery settings can't switch its protection off. The strictest version.
